Today was..

an overall great day besides studying for hours! I got to share an amazing candlelit dinner outside with Tyler that i cooked (..ok we both did!) We made fettuccine alfredo with broccoli, a Cesar salad on the side and some strawberries with nutella! It was all from Trader Joe's which is my favorite market! Not only did we laugh so hard all night but he even helped me study a bit more..i know i know! He is a keeper and he makes me happy!
I wish everything else in my life was going just as well! =/

p/s how cute is this picture?

I always tell myself that I'm going to do yoga everyday and be a pro at it eventually...but the days go by and I never seem to get around to doing it. Am i busy? Not so much, it just somehow never happens. i actually got around to doing it! I went to the gym and they were having a yoga class so i thought hey, why not? I think i was the only one under 50 so i had a lot of confidence being young and all...well lemme tell you, i was getting beat by my elders but putting that embarrassing moment aside, I still had a good time! So my new goal that i will TRY my best to follow is doing yoga at least twice a week..sounds easy right? Well we shall see!

Live life to the fullest!

Something I'm still learning to do is to live life to the fullest, sometimes it seems so hard but it is worth it.

Be Adventurous

Love Yourself

Love Others

Listen to your Heart and Soul

Appreciate the little things in life

and most of all be yourself

Don't be afraid to show the real you!

I feel that I am someone who can't hide how i feel, if I'm upset, mad, annoyed, stessed out or even happy for that matter, you can see it on my face. I was always ashamed that i couldn't hide it or keep it in till i was alone. I would always apologize to everyone around me but I've come to realize that showing how i feel is being real. I'm not pretending to be something or feel something that I am not feeling. So i wear my heart on my sleeve...big deal! I am being truthful and this quote is explains it perfectly!

"Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for the truth." ~Benjamin Disraeli

Hello Monday!

"The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there." ~Monica Baldwin

Enjoy your monday!

Nights at the park...

Nights at the park are wonderful..especially with the people who mean a lot to you!
Tyler and I went to the park last night and it was perfect. The weather was amazing, cool and windy, nothing like what it has been all summer. It was a great change.
We laid down a blanket and enjoyed the weather, the park and the company of each other.
I hope i have many more of these nights!

Enjoy your day!

Thank you college

Despite all the homework, I am very thankful for college! It's great! I only had one class today so my weekend has officially started. Time to catch up on some rest and relaxation...and sadly, some homework as well! But I won't let that bring me down..

Have a great weekend!

Dear Homework,

Must you be so plentiful? i mean really, CMON! do you honestly think all your small print pages of information are really staying up in this head of mine?! I am a girl of many thoughts! you see homework, you, just like the rest of my thoughts fly through my head and disappear like you dont even exist! So give me a break! hey...its a thought right? do i think you are going to give me a break dear homework? of course not =( Well, procrastination will just have to do for now but you better watch out homework, ill get my revenge.)

Aroma Cafe

Aroma Cafe is a cute little place in Studio City to come, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee(or tea, whatever you may prefer) and even better....people watch! Whether you want some coffee, dinner or even dessert, they got it! It even has a great little bookstore inside called The Portrait of a Bookstore.I have always loved stopping by this place with of course, my favorite person, my mother. We both adore the spot and not to mention, the little shops along the street, such as the Gelato shop (my mom's current obsession).

It is that time once again! Autumn has finally arrived!!

I can feel it in air. The blazing hot days of Summer slowly transitioning into the cool breeze of Autumn. I'm so excited! It is the perfect medium between the two seasons, Summer and Winter. There are many things i love about this time of year:

The trees changing colors
The falling of the leaves
Carving pumpkins
Wearing cozy sweaters and socks
The crisp cool air
Thanksgiving dinner
Hot apple cider

So get out all your favorite sweaters and enjoy the pleasant change in seasons!
